Paul Slight has been active in the Media Mergers and Acquisitions arena in the UK, Europe and US for over 20 years. He started his career at Henry Ansbacher merchant bank in the 1980s in their specialist UK and US media mergers and acquisitions team, he was then a founding partner of a boutique investment bank in the publishing sector in 1990. After 12 successful years he left to form his own corporate finance operation with Fusion Corporate Partners LLC. He has completed over 50 deals acting for the vendors of privately owned publishing companies in the £3M to £50M valuation range. He knows and has dealt with the key buying personalities over the years and has a unique grasp and perspective of the pitfalls that may be present in the sale of media assets and how to avoid them or resolve them.

Mark Eisenstadt (49)
Mark Eisenstadt worked in senior positions at VNU and Reed before becoming an entrepreneur in 1990 when he launched a trade publications business aimed at the medical and pharmaceutical markets. After building the business to over £1 Million profit per annum , he sold the company with Paul's assistance in 2002.
Having proven his success in publishing, Mark took up the new challenge of the media mergers and acquisitions arena and joined Fusion Corporate Partners LLC. Not only does he have the first-hand experience of the financial, psychological, and physical ups and downs of the mergers and acquisitions process, but in his industry career Mark worked across numerous sectors and successfully launched, developed, and managed the growth of businesses. Mark is exceptionally well placed to advise on acquisition and exit strategies and the structure, development, and exploitation of a business.

Toby Gordon (37) - Senior Associate
Toby Gordon has a combination of corporate and entrepreneurial experience. He was a Director in Cable and Wireless plc’s Corporate Development team, where he managed all aspects of a number of UK and cross border acquisitions and divestments over 5 years. Prior to his time at Fusion Corporate Partners he had an operational role with responsibility for business development at a Managed IT Services business. Overall he has experience of the Telecoms, Media and Technology Sectors, the issues facing small companies as well as the critical importance of project management in corporate finance transactions.
